Gold and Silver Surge: Gold Up by Rs. 2,300 and Silver Up by Rs. 40 per Tola

The price of gold in the Nepali market surged on Sunday, showing a sharp increase compared to Friday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold, which was traded at Rs. 195,200 per tola on Friday, climbed by Rs. 2,300 to reach Rs. 197,500 per tola today.

Similarly, silver prices also witnessed an upward movement. On Sunday, silver rose by Rs. 40 per tola, settling at Rs. 2,350 per tola, the association stated.
