Gold Price Soars by NPR 1,000, Silver Also Inches Up in Nepali Market

On Monday, Jestha 19, the price of gold in the Nepali market increased significantly. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of hallmark gold rose by NPR 1,000 per tola, reaching NPR 189,800. On Sunday, the price of hallmark gold was NPR 188,800 per tola. The continuous surge in gold prices has drawn attention in recent days as it reflects global market trends and local demand.
Similarly, the price of silver also went up on the same day. Silver witnessed a price hike of NPR 5 per tola. It is currently being traded at NPR 1,990 per tola, compared to Sunday’s rate of NPR 1,985 per tola. Both gold and silver have been showing an upward trend in the Nepali market, signaling increasing investor interest and possible shifts in international bullion prices.
