Government Approves Economic Reform Implementation Action Plan 2082

The Government of Nepal has approved the Economic Reform Implementation Action Plan 2082, prepared based on the recommendations of the High-Level Economic Reform Recommendation Commission. The decision was announced by the government spokesperson and Minister for Labour, Employment, and Social Security, Prithvi Subba Gurung, following the Cabinet meeting held on Thursday at Singha Durbar.
The meeting also approved the Bagmati Civilization Integrated Development Committee (Fifth Amendment) Order 2082. Additionally, the Cabinet decided to extend the tenure of a Major General serving in the Medical Subgroup under the Nepal Army’s Military Health Group.
Similarly, the Cabinet approved the use of land owned by the Surkhet Valley Urban Development Committee for the construction of an administrative building for the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers of Karnali Province. The Ministry of Urban Development has been directed to make the land available.
Furthermore, the Cabinet granted approval for Minister for Industry, Damodar Bhandari, to participate in a program to be held in China from Jestha 11 to 19.
