House of Representatives Meeting at 11 AM Today, Two Budget-Related Bills to Be Tabled

A meeting of the House of Representatives under the Federal Parliament has been scheduled for 11 AM today at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.
According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel will present two key budget-related bills in today’s session: the Appropriation Bill, 2082 and the Public Debt Collection Bill, 2082.
Additionally, Finance Minister Paudel is expected to respond to queries raised by Members of Parliament regarding the annual revenue and expenditure estimates for the fiscal year 2082/83.
The session will also see the tabling of the Constitutional Council (Functions, Duties, Powers and Procedures) (First Amendment) Bill, 2079, along with the message received from the National Assembly.
With these important budgetary and governance-related bills on the agenda, today's meeting holds significant importance in the ongoing legislative process.
