Bungal Hydro Limited has extended the application deadline for its IPO, which was initially issued from Ashar 29 (July 13, 2025). The IPO was opened in the first phase for project-affected locals and Nepali citizens working abroad.
Due to an insufficient number of applications from the project-affected group, the deadline has now been extended until Shrawan 26 (August 10, 2025). However, Nepali citizens working abroad can only apply until today (Shrawan 11 / July 27, 2025).
The company received approval from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) to issue 2,905,000 shares—35% of its issued capital—at a face value of NPR 100 per share.
Out of the total, 830,000 shares are reserved for project-affected locals, while 207,500 shares are allocated for Nepali migrant workers holding valid labor permits.
Project-affected locals eligible to apply include residents of highly affected areas: Ward No. 6 of Bungal Municipality (former Pipalkot VDC Ward No. 4, 5, 7), Ward No. 7 (former Kaflaseri VDC Ward No. 10), and moderately affected areas: Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, and 11 of the same municipality.
Applicants from both categories can apply for a minimum of 10 shares and a maximum of 20,000 shares.
After the first-phase allotment, the company will proceed with a second-phase public issue for the general public.
