Khani Khola Hydropower’s 100% Rights Share Issuance

Khani Khola Hydropower Company Limited (KKHC) has opened its 100% rights issue from today, Bhadra 3. The company, which had announced a book closure on Ashad 27, is offering rights shares in the ratio of 1:1 to shareholders recorded until Ashad 26. Under this scheme, KKHC is issuing 4,657,143 rights shares worth NPR 465.7 million at a par value of NPR 100 each.

Applications can be submitted until Bhadra 23. The issue has been rated ICRA NP Single B by ICRA Nepal, indicating high credit risk. Citizens Capital Limited is the issue manager. Investors can apply through designated branches of Kumari Bank and Citizens Bank, other ASBA-participating banks and financial institutions, or online via the Mero Share platform.

Currently, the company’s paid-up capital stands at NPR 465.7 million, which will double to NPR 931.4 million after the rights issue. The funds raised will primarily be used to repay debt, reduce interest expenses, improve financial stability, and strengthen equity.
