Last Day to Apply for Nepal Micro Insurance’s IPO Today

Today, February 27, 2025 (Fagun 15), is the final day to apply for the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Nepal Micro Insurance Limited, which opened for the general public on February 23 (Fagun 11). The company, with an issued capital of NPR 750 million, received approval to issue 30% of it—2.25 million shares worth NPR 225 million. In the first phase, 225,000 shares were allotted to Nepalis in foreign employment, 67,500 to employees, and 112,500 to mutual funds. Now, in the second phase, 1.845 million shares worth NPR 184.5 million are available for the public. Applications range from a minimum of 10 shares to a maximum of 100,000. NIBL Ace Capital is the issue manager. CARE Ratings Nepal assigned a CARE NP Double B Minus rating, indicating moderate risk.
