Mero Microfinance Financial Institution Limited Announces 5 Percent Dividend

Mero Microfinance Financial Institution Limited has announced dividends to its shareholders from the profit of the last fiscal year. The microfinance institution has declared a total dividend equivalent to 5 percent of its paid-up capital, amounting to NPR 70.95 million. Out of the total dividend, 4.75 percent will be distributed in the form of bonus shares, while 0.25 percent will be provided as cash dividend for tax purposes on the bonus shares. The decision was made during the board of directors’ meeting held on December 23. The dividend will be distributed after receiving approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and endorsement by the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
