Nepal SBI and Shine Resunga Banks to Issue Bonds Worth NPR 4 Billion

Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. and Shine Resunga Development Bank Ltd. have received regulatory approval from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) to issue bonds totaling NPR 4 billion.
As per the approval:
Nepal SBI Bank will issue bonds worth NPR 3 billion.
Shine Resunga Bank will issue bonds worth NPR 1 billion.
Nepal SBI Bank Bond Details:
Nepal SBI’s bonds will be issued for a tenure of 10 years with a fixed annual interest rate of 7%.
Total Issue Size: NPR 3 billion
Public Issuance: NPR 1.2 billion
Private Placement: NPR 1.8 billion
Issue and Sales Manager: Nabil Investment Banking Ltd.
Shine Resunga Bank Bond Details:
Shine Resunga Bank will also issue 10-year bonds but at a higher annual interest rate of 8%.
Total Issue Size: NPR 1 billion
Public Issuance: NPR 400 million
Private Placement: NPR 600 million
Issue and Sales Manager: NIMB Ace Capital Ltd.
Both banks aim to raise long-term capital to strengthen their financial base and enhance lending capacity. The bonds offer stable returns over a decade and could appeal to investors looking for fixed-income investment instruments in Nepal's evolving financial market.
