Oli’s Remark: The Nation Must Now Be Led by the Youth

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the leadership of the nation should now be taken over by the youth. Speaking at the inauguration of the ‘NADA Auto Show’, which began Tuesday at Bhrikutimandap in the capital, he pointed out that since the Automobile Association of Nepal is being led by young Karan Chaudhary, the country too must now be steered by the younger generation.

Oli expressed confidence that the Auto Show would be successful due to the latest technologies showcased at the event. Highlighting that the world has already made great strides in technology, he stressed that Nepal too must embrace such innovations to move forward. He added that young people are taking leaps in innovation and technology, and the country should capitalize on their potential.

Praising Chaudhary’s capable leadership, Oli remarked that while he is ready to step down from the premiership, competent young leaders have not yet come forward. He further encouraged entrepreneurs, assuring them that the government has been creating a business-friendly environment with stable monetary policies, budgetary support, and inclusive programs.

Calling infrastructure development the backbone of prosperity, Oli claimed that quality road networks are being expanded across villages and highways are being upgraded. He said, “Now there is no lack of technology. We must expand investment in this sector. We should not only aim to see flying cars but also build them here in Nepal and sell them to the world.”

Thus, Oli positioned youth leadership and technological advancement as the key drivers for building a prosperous Nepal.
