Over 16.3 Million Shares Listed on NEPSE in a Week

A total of 16,377,079 shares from various companies were listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) this week.

On Monday, National Life Insurance Company Limited listed 2,606,066.54 shares as part of a 5% bonus share approved by its annual general meeting.

Similarly, on Tuesday, Vikas Hydropower Limited listed 9,091,013 shares, which officially came into trading. On the same day, Himalayan Re-Insurance Limited also listed 4,680,000 shares as part of a 4.50% bonus share approved by its AGM.

With these additions, the total number of newly listed shares on NEPSE this week has surpassed 16.3 million. Market participants expect that the listing of these shares will create more trading opportunities for investors.
