Poush 7 Marks Last Day to Secure Dividends of Citizen Life and HIDCL

Monday, Poush 7, is the last day for shareholders of Citizen Life Insurance and Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company (HIDCL) to secure dividends. Both companies are set to close their books on Poush 8 for the purpose of their annual general meetings and dividend distribution. Accordingly, investors holding shares until Poush 7 will be eligible to attend the respective AGMs and receive the proposed dividends.

Citizen Life Insurance Limited has scheduled its 9th Annual General Meeting on Friday, Poush 18, at Amrapali Banquet, Bhatbhateni, Naxal, Kathmandu. The meeting will commence at 9:30 AM. The AGM will endorse a proposal to distribute a cash dividend of 20 percent (including tax) based on the company’s paid-up capital.

Similarly, Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company Limited (HIDCL) has called its 14th Annual General Meeting on Monday, Poush 21, at Karki Banquet, Babarmahal, Kathmandu. The meeting will begin at 10:00 AM. The AGM will pass a special proposal to distribute a 1.5 percent bonus share along with a 2 percent cash dividend (including tax) to its shareholders.
