Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Calls AGM to Approve 15% Cash Dividend

Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Limited (SALICO) has called its 29th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to approve the cash dividend proposed from the profit of the previous fiscal year.

The company has scheduled the AGM for Tuesday, January 13 (Poush 29), at Amritbhog, Kalikasthan, Kathmandu, starting at 11:00 AM. The meeting will endorse a proposal to distribute a 15 percent cash dividend (including tax) based on the company’s paid-up capital.

In addition, the AGM will approve expenses made under corporate social responsibility, appoint an external auditor, and pass other routine resolutions.

For the purpose of the AGM and dividend distribution, the company has announced a book closure date of Poush 20. Accordingly, shareholders who hold shares traded on NEPSE up to Poush 17 will be eligible to attend the AGM and receive the declared cash dividend.
