SEBON Forms Committee to Probe Reliance Spinning Mills Book-Building Process

Kathmandu — The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has formed a committee to conduct an impartial investigation into the actions and procedures related to the issuance of shares of Reliance Spinning Mills through the book-building process.

According to SEBON’s decision dated 2082/09/04, the committee has been tasked with submitting its report within 15 days. The committee is headed by Board Member Mr. Binod Kumar Bhattarai, with Board Members Mr. Anand Raj Sharma Wagley and Mr. Pitambar Bhandari serving as members.

SEBON has stated that the committee is authorized to invite other individuals and stakeholders as necessary during the course of the investigation. The committee will review whether the share issuance process was carried out in a transparent and fair manner and will submit its findings along with recommendations to the Board.
