Shiva Shree Hydropower Concludes Auction of Unclaimed Rights Shares Today

Kathmandu — Shiva Shree Hydropower Limited (SSHL) is closing the auction of 865,845 units of unclaimed rights shares today, 27th Kartik, 2082. The auction had opened on 20th Kartik, 2082.
The company had previously issued 1:1 ratio rights shares to its shareholders from 19th Bhadra to 23rd Ashwin, 2082. Out of the total 14,764,000 units issued, 13,898,155 units (94.14%) were allotted to eligible shareholders, while 865,845 units (5.86%) remained unclaimed and were put up for public auction.
Both individual and institutional investors are eligible to participate in the auction. The minimum bid price has been set at Rs. 100 per share, and the minimum bid quantity is 100 units. Although bidders can apply for the entire unsold portion, they must comply with the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) regulations, which restrict the maximum number of shares per entity.
Citizens Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for this auction.
The company stated that this auction marks the final phase of its rights share issuance process, aimed at strengthening its capital base and supporting future project expansion in Nepal’s hydropower sector.
