Shivam Cement Posts Threefold Profit Growth in FY, Reaches NPR 794.1 Million

Kathmandu, August 12 — Shivam Cement has reported a threefold increase in net profit for the last fiscal year. According to the company’s fourth-quarter financial report, the net profit reached NPR 794.1 million, compared to NPR 259.6 million in the same period last year. The surge in profit was largely attributed to reduced cost of sales.

Total sales revenue posted a slight increase, rising from NPR 7.70 billion in the previous fiscal year to NPR 7.76 billion this year. In contrast, the cost of sales dropped significantly from NPR 6.66 billion to NPR 6.03 billion. Additionally, lower bank interest expenses contributed to reduced financial costs, which fell from NPR 49.6 million to NPR 10 million during the review period.

The company’s annual earnings per share (EPS) stands at NPR 14.55, while the net worth per share is NPR 188.57. At Tuesday’s market close, Shivam Cement’s share price stood at NPR 633.90 per unit.
