NIC Asia Capital Limited has announced that today (Bhadra 12) is the final day to apply for its “NIC Asia Equity Linked Investment Scheme”, which was opened for issuance and sale on Shrawan 29.

The Capital has floated 100 million units at a par value of Rs. 10 per unit. Out of this, 15% (15 million units) have been reserved for the scheme’s promoter, NIC Asia Bank. From the remaining 85 million units, 50 million units have been issued to the general public in the first phase.

This is the second open-ended mutual fund managed by NIC Asia Capital. Investors can apply for a minimum of 100 units and up to 10 million units.

For the first time in an open-ended scheme, investors are also offered the option of starting a mini SIP (Systematic Investment Plan) with as little as Rs. 500, along with features like Systematic Transfer Plans (STP).
