Gold Price Drops by NPR 3,000 per Tola in Nepali Market; Silver Also Declines

The price of gold in the local Nepali market saw a significant decline today. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has dropped by NPR 3,000 per tola, setting today’s rate at NPR 190,700 per tola.
Similarly, the price of silver also decreased, falling by NPR 5 per tola. The current rate for silver stands at NPR 2,145 per tola.
As per international media reports, the global gold price today is fixed at USD 3,311 per ounce.
Traders anticipate that the decline in prices may result in increased buying activity in the domestic market.
