Multiple Entry China Tourist Visa for Frequent Nepali Travelers

Multiple Entry China Tourist Visa for Frequent Nepali Travelers

For Nepali travelers who frequently visit China for tourism, business, or family purposes, obtaining a Multiple Entry China Tourist Visa in 2025 is the most practical and time-saving solution. Instead of applying for a new visa each time, this visa allows travelers to enter and exit China multiple times within the visa validity period — typically six months to one year. Each stay under this visa can last between 30 to 90 days, depending on the embassy’s approval. The Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu grants multiple-entry visas only to applicants who can demonstrate consistent travel history, valid purpose of visit, and financial stability. Frequent travelers such as businesspersons, professionals attending exhibitions, family visitors, or cultural exchange participants are more likely to qualify for this visa type.

To apply, travelers must submit a detailed set of documents, including previous China visas, recent passport-size photos (48mm x 33mm, white background), valid passport, flight reservations, hotel bookings, bank statements, and a clear travel itinerary. Applicants who have already traveled to China or other countries multiple times with a good immigration record have higher chances of approval. It is also highly recommended to include a cover letter or travel justification letter explaining the need for frequent visits, whether it be for tourism, business meetings, or visiting relatives. The Chinese Visa Application Service Center (CVASC), located at Rising Mall, Kamaladi, Kathmandu, handles the submission and processing. Applicants must first fill out the online form at visaforchina.cn, print it, and attach all required documents before submission.

The processing time usually takes five to seven working days for a regular application. However, for those in need of faster service, express or urgent processing options are available for an additional fee, with results often within two to three working days. Applicants are advised to apply at least two weeks before their planned departure date to avoid last-minute complications.

Nepal Begins Budget Work, Sets Up Revenue Advisory Committee to Shape Tax and Economic Reforms

Nepal Begins Budget Work, Sets Up Revenue Advisory Committee to Shape Tax and Economic Reforms Kathmandu — Nepal’s Ministry of Finance has formally kicked off the process of preparing the national budget for the upcoming fiscal year by constituting a Revenue Advisory Committee, signaling the start of the government’s annual fiscal planning cycle. Officials say the move is aimed at collecting structured policy input before the budget ceiling, priorities, and tax proposals are finalized. According to the ministry, the committee has been formed under a decision of Finance Minister Rameshwar Prasad Khanal dated Magh 28 (Nepali calendar), with the Ministry’s Revenue Secretary serving as coordinator. The ministry’s spokesperson, Tank Prasad Pandey, said the committee has already started work, indicating that early-stage consultations and technical reviews are now underway. At its core, the committee’s mandate is broader than routine “tax suggestions.” It has been asked to advise on the economic context and on what the budget should prioritize—meaning it can influence both the revenue strategy (how the state raises money) and the policy direction (where the state plans to intervene, reform, or incentivize). In practice, such committees often become the route through which competing interests—business groups, sector associations, experts, and government agencies—try to shape the budget narrative.
