Nepal SBI Bank Announces 9% Dividend for FY 2081/82, Including 4% Bonus Shares

Nepal SBI Bank has announced a 9% dividend for its shareholders for the fiscal year 2081/82. The decision was made during the board of directors’ meeting held on Monday, in which the proposed dividend distribution was finalized.

According to Company Secretary Khageshwar Bhatt, the bank will distribute the dividend based on the current paid-up capital of Rs 10.89 billion. The proposed distribution includes 4% bonus shares and 5% cash dividend, inclusive of tax. The cash component will be credited directly to shareholders’ accounts after approval.

The bank stated that the proposed dividend will be implemented only after obtaining approval from the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB). Following regulatory approval, the dividend will be forwarded to the bank’s 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) for final endorsement before being distributed to shareholders.
