अमेरिका–इरान शान्ति सम्झौता निर्णायक मोडमा, पाकिस्तानले भन्यो — '२४ घण्टामा हस्ताक्षर सम्भव'US-Iran Peace Deal at Critical Juncture, Pakistan Says: 'Signing Possible Within 24 Hours'
महिनौँदेखि द्वन्द्वको भुमरीमा रहेका अमेरिका र इरानबीचको कूटनीतिक वार्ता अहिले एउटा संवेदनशील र निर्णायक मोडमा आएर टेकेको छ। मध्यस्थकर्ताको भूमिकामा सक्रिय पाकिस्तानले आगामी चौबीस घण्टाभित्रै दुई देशबीच औपचारिक शान्ति सम्झौता कार्यान्वयनमा आउन सक्ने बताएको छ।
पाकिस्तानी प्रधानमन्त्री शहबाज शरीफले सामाजिक सञ्जाल 'एक्स'मा पोस्ट गर्दै सम्झौताको खाका तयार भइसकेको र दुवै पक्षले त्यसमा सहमति जनाइसकेको उल्लेख गरे। उनका अनुसार अन्तिम दस्तावेजमा इलेक्ट्रोनिक हस्ताक्षर गर्ने तयारी पूरा भएको छ र सम्झौतापछि प्राविधिक तहका थप वार्ता निरन्तर अगाडि बढ्नेछन्। शरीफले भने, "शान्ति अहिले जति नजिक छ, यसअघि कहिल्यै थिएन।"
तर इरानको रवैया भने केही सावधानीपूर्ण देखिन्छ। इरानी विदेश मन्त्रालयले सम्झौता निकट रहेको कुरा स्वीकार गरे पनि आइतबारभित्रै हस्ताक्षर हुनेछ भन्ने दाबीलाई आधिकारिक रूपमा पुष्टि गर्न भने मानेको छैन। विदेशमन्त्री अब्बास अराघचीले सञ्चारमाध्यममा आएका विभिन्न खबरप्रति टिप्पणी गर्दै अन्तिम निर्णय नभएसम्म कसैले पनि निष्कर्षमा नपुग्न आग्रह गरे।
अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रम्पले पनि वार्ताको प्रगतिबारे सकारात्मक सङ्केत दिएका छन्। उनका अनुसार मुख्य विवादास्पद विषयहरूमा दुवै पक्ष एकमत भइसकेका छन् र अब केही प्राविधिक तथा प्रशासनिक प्रक्रिया मात्र बाँकी छन्।
अझसम्म सार्वजनिक नभएको अन्तिम दस्तावेजमा विश्व ऊर्जा आपूर्तिको मुख्य ढोकामानिने स्ट्रेट अफ होर्मुजलाई पूर्ण रूपमा पुनः सञ्चालनमा ल्याउने, इरानमाथि लगाइएका केही आर्थिक प्रतिबन्ध शिथिल गर्ने, रोक्का राखिएका इरानी सम्पत्तिमा पहुँच दिने र आणविक कार्यक्रमसम्बन्धी भविष्यका वार्ताका लागि ढोका खुला राख्ने प्रावधान रहेको बताइएको छ।
स्ट्रेट अफ होर्मुज विश्वको एउटा अत्यन्त रणनीतिक जलमार्ग भएकाले सम्भावित सम्झौताले अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय तेल बजारमा मूल्य स्थिरता ल्याउने र समग्र विश्व अर्थतन्त्रमा सकारात्मक असर पार्ने विश्लेषकहरूको अपेक्षा छ। तथापि इरानको हिचकिचाहटलाई मध्यनजर गर्दा सम्झौता ठीक यही समयसीमाभित्र पूर्ण हुन्छ कि हुँदैन भन्ने प्रश्न भने अझै अनुत्तरित नै छ।
Kathmandu, June 14 — Diplomatic talks between the United States and Iran, which have been caught in a spiral of conflict for months, have now reached a sensitive and decisive turning point. Pakistan, playing an active role as mediator, has stated that a formal peace agreement between the two countries could come into effect within the next twenty-four hours.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif posted on social media platform X that the framework of the agreement has already been finalized and both parties have expressed their consent to it. According to him, preparations for electronic signatures on the final document are complete, and further technical-level talks will continue after the agreement is signed. Sharif stated, "Peace has never been this close before."
Iran's stance, however, appears somewhat cautious. While the Iranian Foreign Ministry acknowledged that an agreement is near, it has stopped short of officially confirming that signatures will be exchanged by Sunday. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, commenting on various reports circulating in the media, urged that no one should jump to conclusions until a final decision has been made.
US President Donald Trump has also signaled optimism regarding the progress of the talks. According to him, both sides have reached consensus on the major points of contention, and only a few technical and administrative procedures remain.
The final document, which has not yet been made public, is reported to include provisions for the full reopening of the Strait of Hormuz — considered the world's primary gateway for energy supply — the easing of some economic sanctions imposed on Iran, access to frozen Iranian assets, and keeping the door open for future negotiations on Iran's nuclear program.
Since the Strait of Hormuz is one of the world's most strategically vital waterways, analysts expect a potential agreement to bring price stability to international oil markets and have a positive impact on the broader global economy. Nevertheless, given Iran's hesitation, the question of whether the deal will be fully concluded within this exact timeframe remains unanswered.
