For Nepali citizens planning to visit Bali, Indonesia in 2025, obtaining a visa has become easier and more convenient through Indonesia’s online e-Visa system. Since Nepali passport holders are not eligible for visa-on-arrival (VoA), they must apply in advance for an Indonesia Visit Visa Type C-211A (Tourist e-Visa). This visa allows travelers to enter Bali and other parts of Indonesia for tourism purposes without visiting the embassy in person. The e-Visa system streamlines the process, allowing all steps — document upload, fee payment, and approval — to be completed online through the official immigration portal.

Before applying, Nepali travelers should prepare the following documents: a valid Nepali passport with at least six months of validity, a digital passport-size photo, confirmed flight and hotel bookings, and a bank statement for the past three months showing sufficient funds (equivalent to USD 500 or more). All documents must be in English or translated and legalized before submission. Applicants can then visit the official Indonesian Immigration e-Visa portal at www.evisa.imigrasi.go.id and register for an account. After registration, choose “Visit Visa 211A (C-Type) – Tourist”, fill in personal and travel details, and upload all required documents.

The data reveals a striking liquidity imbalance within the banking system. Although deposits have continued to grow steadily, credit demand has not kept pace. As a result, more than NPR 838 billion (8.38 trillion rupees) has accumulated at Nepal Rastra Bank in various forms, including deposit collection instruments, standing deposit facilities, and central bank bonds. This reflects the inability—or unwillingness—of banks to deploy funds into productive sectors of the economy.
