C1 Tourist Visa Indonesia – Cost, Documents, and Processing Time for Nepalis

For Nepali passport holders planning to visit Indonesia, the C1 Tourist Visa is the primary visa category that allows travel for tourism, family visits, and non-commercial events such as meetings, exhibitions, and conventions. This visa offers a single entry and allows visitors to stay for up to 60 days, with the option to extend it twice, making a total possible stay of up to 180 days. The visa must be used to enter Indonesia within 90 days of issuance, otherwise, it becomes invalid.
The official cost of the C1 Tourist Visa, as per the Indonesian Immigration eVisa portal, is IDR 1,500,000(approximately NPR 12,500–13,000). However, many travel and visa service providers may charge slightly more to include their processing and support services. The processing time for the C1 visa typically takes five working daysafter the application is submitted, but it may take longer if there are missing documents or high application volumes. Some premium agencies even offer express visa services within 2–3 days for an additional charge.
To apply, Nepali citizens can visit the official immigration website https://molina.imigrasi.go.id/ and complete the online eVisa form. Applicants must upload all required documents, including a passport valid for at least six months, a bank statement showing at least USD 2,000 (or equivalent in NPR) for the past three months, and a recent color passport-sized photo. Optional but recommended documents include flight itinerary, hotel booking confirmation, or an invitation letter if you are visiting friends or family. All documents must be clear and submitted in PDF or JPG format.
Once submitted, the applicant must pay the visa fee online using a Visa or MasterCard debit/credit card. After successful payment, a confirmation email will be sent, and upon approval, the eVisa will be emailed in PDF format. Travelers must print the eVisa and carry it along with their passport when traveling to Indonesia. At the immigration counter, the eVisa will be verified, and the entry stamp will be granted for a 60-day stay.
Under this visa, travelers are strictly prohibited from working, earning money, or speaking at paid events. Violating visa terms can lead to deportation, fines, or a travel ban. The visa can be extended twice for 60 days each by visiting a local immigration office before the initial period expires. The C1 Tourist Visa provides flexibility for Nepali travelers who want to explore destinations such as Bali, Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Lombok, and Sumatra without hassle.
