Group Travel to Turkey from Nepal: Tourist Visa Rules & Documents

Nepali citizens planning to travel to Türkiye as a family group, friends group, corporate tour, or organized travel group must apply for a Turkey Tourist (Sticker) Visa through VFS Global Nepal. While applications may be submitted together, visa decisions are always made individually.

1. Is There a Turkey Group Visa for Nepalis?

No. Turkey does not issue a single group visa for Nepali citizens.
However:

  • Applications can be submitted together at VFS

  • Hotel, itinerary, and tour documents can be shared

  • Each applicant receives a separate visa sticker

If one member is refused, others may still be approved.

2. Who Can Apply as a Group?

Group applications are commonly accepted for:

  • Families (spouse, children, parents)

  • Friends traveling together

  • Corporate or office tour groups

  • Travel-agency-organized tour packages

Minors must submit separate applications with parental consent documents.

3. Common Documents (For Each Group Member)

Each traveler must submit:

  1. Visa application form (manually filled, signed)

  2. Original passport (6 months validity + 2 blank pages)

  3. Two biometric photos (2.5 × 2.5 inch, white background)

  4. Individual cover letter

  5. Personal bank statement (last 6 months)

  6. Income proof (salary slip, business proof, pension, etc.)

  7. Travel insurance (individual or group policy)

  8. Passport copies (first, last, visa pages)

  9. Civil status proof (Aadhaar & PAN)

4. Shared Documents for Group Applications

These documents can be common for all applicants:

  • Hotel reservation (covering all names and full stay)

  • Round-trip flight reservation

  • Tour itinerary or travel plan

  • Tour operator letter (if using a travel agency)

All names must appear clearly and consistently across documents.

5. Bank Balance Rules for Group Travelers

  • Each adult must normally show individual bank statements

  • Recommended minimum: INR 1 lakh per adult (or equivalent)

  • One sponsor (e.g., head of family) may support others with:

    • Sponsorship letter

    • Sponsor’s bank statement

    • Relationship proof

Children’s expenses can be covered by parents.

6. Cover Letter Tips for Group Travel

Each applicant should:

  • Mention they are traveling as part of a group

  • List names and passport numbers of co-travelers

  • Confirm shared itinerary and return plan

  • Clearly state who is financing the trip

Avoid submitting identical copy-paste letters.

7. Visa Fees & Processing

  • Visa fee: INR 5,210 per person (single-entry tourist visa)

  • VFS service fees: Payable per applicant (NPR cash + INR bank transfer)

  • Processing time: Typically 10–15 working days

Applying together does not guarantee faster processing.

8. Common Reasons Group Visas Get Rejected

  • One member has weak financial proof

  • Mismatch of names/dates in shared bookings

  • Copy-paste cover letters

  • Sudden bank deposits

  • Unclear sponsor arrangements

The weakest file in the group often faces refusal.
