Thailand E-Visa Payment Guide: Pay Securely Online from Nepal

Paying the visa fee is the final and most important step in completing your Thailand E-Visa application. For Nepali citizens, the entire process — including form submission, document upload, and payment — is handled online through the official portal www.thaievisa.go.th. Understanding how to make the payment securely ensures your application is accepted without interruption or delay.

Once you have completed your personal information and uploaded all required documents (passport, photo, bank statement, hotel booking, and flight details), the system will automatically take you to the payment section. Before proceeding, double-check that all information and uploaded documents are correct. Errors cannot be changed after payment, and visa fees are non-refundable.

The payment gateway used by the Royal Thai Embassy is internationally verified and protected by SSL encryption, ensuring all transactions are secure. Nepali applicants can make their visa fee payment using any internationally accepted debit or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or UnionPay). Some users also successfully make payments using multi-currency travel cards or dollar-enabled bank cards issued by Nepali banks such as Nabil Bank, Standard Chartered, and Global IME.

When the payment page opens, you will see the total visa fee amount displayed in Thai Baht (THB) or USD equivalent. For Nepali applicants, the average tourist visa fee is around NPR 6,000 – NPR 7,000, depending on the exchange rate and service charge. Enter your card number, expiry date, CVV, and billing address exactly as shown on your bank statement. Avoid using public Wi-Fi during payment — always connect from a secure personal internet network.

After completing your payment, the system will redirect you to a confirmation page stating “Payment Successful.”You’ll also receive an email receipt immediately with the transaction ID and payment confirmation details. This digital receipt is proof of your visa fee payment, so download and save it in PDF format. You can also find a copy under the “My Dashboard → Payment History” section of your E-Visa account.

If your payment fails, do not refresh or close your browser immediately. Instead, check your bank’s SMS or email notifications to confirm whether the amount has been deducted. In case of a failed payment, you can try again after a few minutes or use another valid card. Sometimes, temporary errors occur if the card’s international payment option is disabled — in that case, contact your bank to enable “online international transactions.”

Once payment is successful, your application will move to the Embassy processing stage, where it will be reviewed within 5–7 working days. You can check your visa status anytime by logging into your dashboard and selecting “Check Status.”

The Thailand E-Visa payment system allows Nepali travelers to make secure, convenient, and instant payments online. The portal supports Visa and MasterCard payments in Thai Baht or USD, ensuring transparency and ease of transaction. Always double-check your details, use a secure connection, and save your payment receipt for future reference.
